- Yellow, in the turmeric-stained face, imperfect, yet with blemishless wisdom;
- Vermillion, the shade of her anger, the sindoor smudged on her forehead;
- Blue, in her forlorn eyes, in the flurry of her unpredictable moods;
- Green, her dance of envy, her harmony, my tuneless life finds melody in;
- Pink, in her acceptance, in contentment that I yearn for;
- Orange, the vigour of her passion, the fire of my soul;
- Violet, her sorrow, her struggles, the turmoil of my emotions in her every teardrop;
- Gray, her hesitation, her loneliness, her detachment – I writhe;
- White, purity – her thoughts, her emotions, her naiveté, her self;
- Black, my fear, my pain, my self, without her...

The essence of each color. What can I say! Beautiful!
rs,
you reminded me of this song - "pachai nirame"...
simple and beautiful....
very colourful
beautiful ramya!
red, her things of hatred, the feeling that I share.
.oO ( Queen of the rainbow came to me )
...
.oO ( With all of the many hues that be )
...
.oO ( Hmmm. I need help finishing this. )
@prabhu,
Do you REALLY hate her?
i share the hatred that she shows towards certain things!
To all: Thanks all :) For some reason, I also thought of the song "Kaalangalil aval vasantham...", no colors there, but another powerful way to describe a woman...
To a n o nymous: Wish I could help :)
aha! @ Prabhu. *bonks self on the head*
To RS: Then you should. :) Will you?
To a no nymous: Am afraid am not qualified to help here! Will await the remaining verses...
"Am afraid am not qualified to help here!"
Seeing that you write as you do, I'd say that it's definitely not a question of qualification.
And just to keep it complete, here's what I came up with:
Queen of the rainbow came to me,
With all of the many hues that be.
With red and green and yellow ink,
She painted a future pretty pink.
But then she left, and never came back,
My canvas now is a hopeless black.
Excellent! Keep writing!
To a no nymous: :)
To Krishna: Thanks!

I like this one the most
"Vermillion, the shade of her anger, the sindoor smudged on her forehead;"
Good post
To Kay: I think that's my favourite too :)
wow thats beautiful - I like the red line as well and this
Green, her dance of envy, her harmony, my tuneless life finds melody in;
rs,
excellent!!! I could feel every single attribute of the color, in relation to womenhood. I would have agreed to your post 100% that every color has a unique attribute had I not listened to the songs I had qouted in ik kavidhayin niRam sivappu
Quite colorful, but I do feel that black is beautiful, especially on girls. Black and red suits almost every girl I have seen so far!
Color her as you can describe
But never can you scribe
The beauty that lies with no words to ascribe
Breaking your heart, with no remedy to prescribe!
