Edited my post after reading IBH's post - follow this link :)

Also, for a good cause...

Maybe a single language, like a single hue does little justice to the variety of colors splashed in our minds...Is that why silence sometimes convey what words cannot?

Wikipedia says India speaks atleast 30 different languages and more than 2000 dialects...to the land of variety, emotions, contrasts and traditions, to the only place that resonates with "home", to India.

Happy Independence Day!

* Today, after many days, I wished to write in Hindi. For a few moments, in my mind, I heard my Hindi teacher's voice - grammar, masculine and feminine genders, the dohas of kabir das - the dulcet sounds of Hindi resounded in my ears

** I also wish to write in Tamil. My hands tremble to color my thoughts in several hues. Why this sudden desire?

I know that you wrote the swades song, because "to write in hindi", was in your system. Good job. I will leave the corrections to someone else :)

कोइ एक सडी, सारी ज़िन्दगी
That probably should be कडी (link), not सडी (rotten).

You probably used a Hinglish to UTF convertor to do this... that would explain the errors.

VERY admirable effort all the same. :)

Happy Independence day! I can proudly say I have so far resisted al the attempts of my parents, relatives and et al to somehow convince me into spending all my youth in the U.S.A (If you go abroad now for a few years, you can make a lot of money and then enjoy the rest of your life happily.)! My work is to be done here and I shall do it soon!! RS, one request, kindly change the font colour of the Tamil part - it is not visible against the background clearly (I had to highlight it to read it!!)

Happy Independence day to you too :)

To ANM: Thanks :), I do use a hinglish editor although won't blame my spelling mistakes on it! I heard the song again, sounds like कोइ एक सदी, not sure :)

To shiva: thanks

To bus: You know what? I managed to catch the first one hour of swades yesterday :)

To agnibarathi: Yes...the decisions we make...

The font thing is intentional :) Thats why the word in blue to indicate that there is more in Tamil there and ofcourse to go with the tricolors :)

To tj: Hmm...sanskrit, I can take a guess... :)

Happy Independence Day,
You write well (?)
Sanskrit is a sweet language,
Hmm...language...write (?)

Apologies for grammar mistakes.

To ferrari: Thanks :)
