That safe place called home...

exists in Atlantis!

Where can I begin...let's see:

1. I thought my water was safe...

2. I thought my floors were safe...

3. I thought my air was safe...

4. I thought my food was safe...

5. I thought my habits were safe...

You get the point.

Blah, what a bleak post! Promise to post something optimistic soon!

Edited: And then L sends me this cartoon, oh well!

this is an increasing trend of once-a-desi-now-in-the-us environmental awareness.. a.k.a paranoid delusions of armageddon.

amen! :)

paranoid delusions? Na-ah (sing it out :) I am afraid this is for real, Arun. This is the world we live in! I am reading a book called "eating with conscience" - the factory farm pictures and facts there are too gruesome to believe...:(

rs,
i agree, this is for real. but I think the articles and books add a little too much spice just to make it sell more. I have never noticed what stuff is written on water bottles.. you know Dasani, Aquafina etc.. Recently i noticed this - A 1 Liter bottle of Dasani water has the "Calories O" written. Atleast to me that was like a Blonde Joke... but if we practice discretion in what we read and believe then no cause for trouble.

after all India la, the entire atmosphere is polluted, dust, stray dogs roaming around, etc... anga irundhundu we never worried about all this, because there was not much being published about all this and life was peaceful. Media nowadays is going way over the limit in bringing out and publishing stuff that does not really need to be informed. I am not suggesting a scam in trying to keep information from humanity, but too much of info is not really helpful either...

oops.. manchika ba.. romba laaaaaang kaments.. :D

Agree but in India, I doubt if the system is as broken down as in the US, I am diverging from my post here but I am referring to just the meat-based culture, big and bigger farm factories, inhumane treatment of pigs/chickens/cows, pesticides/herbicides, plastics, everything processed and semi-processed, antibiotics/growth hormones being fed to animals on a daily basis...seems to me we are doing all the wrong things here...
