Been thinking about this for a long time and finally decided to go for it. Told my manager yesterday and sent a formal resignation note today. So, it's bye bye IBM for me. I am thinking of taking a break from work till August so I have a fresh start after my arangetram.

Congratulations! I quit MSFT two weeks ago and I'm enjoying every moment of it.
Wow congrats....Enjoy your break. I took 9months off last year and thats the best decision ever....I enjoyed Baking, Going to beach on weekdays when its warm, ready plenty of books on the beach, hung out with GFs.....I will definitely take time off in future too. Have fun.
